Scripting

We can incorporate scripting into your website, or supply external scripts for you to add to an existing website. We code in all the most popular scripting languages, PHP, Perl, ASP, Javascript etc. Scripting can give your site a dynamic, vibrant feel, and adds functionality to your site.

A script is simply a small program that runs either within your browser, called a clientside script, or runs on the server, called a serverside script.

Serverside scripts can determine what is sent to the browser, thus a website can appear to have inteligence, by serving only pages or part of pages that are relevent to the users needs, websites with functionality are said to be 'dynamic' rather than 'static'.

Clientside scripts are run within the browser, and therefore do not change the content of the page served from the server, however they can add useability to a site, and appear to make the page interact with the user, by either highlighting the path forward or pointing out where something is filled in wrong.
